ETHIOPIA
These arabica beans come from the Oromia Coffee Farmers, in the southwestern region of Limu, a union of 34 small cooperatives. The name ‘Oromia’ comes from the region where coffee first originated. The OFC pays 70% of its profits to the farmers, whose lives have improved exponentially and now have access to social services in their villages.
Limu coffee is grown at about 1100–1800m above sea level. It’s medium-bodied and well-balanced, with a spicy, winey flavour, full citrus acidity, soft berry undertones, and notes of chocolate and flowers.
Loose coffee beans availabe in 250g, 500g and 1kg bags
